Bio

Hi everyone! My name is Amanda and I am so excited to launch my new personal training business Live Life Fitness. My career in the fitness industry started in Portland after graduating with a Bachelors in Exercise Science from Oregon State University. Before graduating I had envisioned myself training in athletics, which is something I still love to this day. But my career took me in a different direction - injury prevention, rehabilitation from injuries, first-time movers, geriatrics, improving body mechanics, pelvic floor/core strength, total body workouts, and more. I am so glad my path took me in this direction. I can personally say that I want to feel as good as possible physically in order for my mental health to follow suit. I believe wholeheartedly that activity, even if it is just ten minutes a day, can change your life. Small changes made throughout the day can drastically improve the overall health of the body. Every person has a different recipe for their overall happiness with their health and wellness, and I would love to be apart of that journey!

“I started training with Amanda four years ago with the results of feeling, looking, and acting twenty years younger. That’s not me talking, that’s my wife and six brothers! (Now two of them have trainers in Michigan.) Because of the fitness level she’s taken me to I’ve had the energy to take my business to a level I never considered. I was 27 when I continually had trainers and have been very pleased with most. However, here in Seattle I found Amanda who had the best of each of those previous trainers, plus something they didn’t: a compassionate connection and communication skill level that refines and redefines weekly my goals; in short . . . SHE GETS IT!”

“I have been training with Amanda for over 5 years and am thrilled with how strong my core and body is. For the last year we have been doing 30 minute focused sessions 3 to 4 times a week to relieve the aches and pains that come from sitting all day. It is a big mental and physical break in the day to keep me sane and strong. Amanda helps me make each day better. Thank you Amanda!”

“I still can’t believe Amanda and I have never met in person. I’ve been more inspired from her as a trainer virtually that I have from in-person workouts I’ve tried. And she’s made it easy to use what I have available at home - and even created a rest stop workout for me to do on long drives.”
